Elzinga & Volkers Announces Safety Consultant Partnership

HOLLAND, Mich. — Elzinga & Volkers (E&V), a leading provider of construction management services, today announced the partnership with Seth Wehner of SW Management and Consulting. Wehner and his team will provide safety oversight and consulting services on all projects throughout Michigan and nationally.
Wehner has provided leadership and strategy through various safety responsibilities during his tenure as a director of safety for commercial construction companies. He brings 15 years of experience to E&V from both branch and corporate companies as a trade contractor and as a general contractor construction manager. The partnership allows E&V to continuously improve on oversight and methods of education and training.

Wehner is Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10 and 30-hour construction safety certified, level one Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) certified, and is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). Additionally, he was named to the “Top Forty Under Forty” list by the National Safety Council, and has led initiatives that reduced injuries by 75 percent and OSHA citations by 100 percent in a four-year span for a large commercial construction company.
